How Do We Report Results

Detection at the level that matters

Results are typically reported in ng/swab or, when concentrations are higher, µg/swab. You can calculate results in ng/cm² based on the sampled area. Because not all sampling locations can accommodate a 100 cm² template, the actual sample size should be used for this calculation. Results below the applicable detection or quantitation limit are reported as < LOD or < LOQ, along with the corresponding LOD or LOQ value.
